Ten years of online teaching experience are reviewed in the context of integral philosophy and teaching with the Integral framework. The article rst reviews the major philosophical influences in the history of American education, then proceeds to reflections on the major consider- ations of the AQAL model. These include the developmental levels of students, the importance of addressing students holistically in the context of mind, body, and spirit, and understanding the latter in the context of the four quadrants. These points are also discussed in terms of rst-, second-, and third-person experience. Throughout the article, emphasis is placed on online learning at the graduate level.
