This article presents the theory and praxis behind operationalizing Integral Theory in the context of graduate level education. It begins by providing a brief historical overview of currents within traditional and holistic approaches to education. Part 1 is dedicated to explicating twenty aspects of Integral Education, which are based on the five elements of Integral Theory (quadrants, levels, lines, states, and types). Twelve ways of knowing are presented to demonstrate how the quadrants can be used to illustrate the rich potential of learning. Part 2 provides numerous concrete examples of the twenty aspects outlined in Part 1 being put to use in a graduate level non-clinical psychology program: ten integral awareness practices used in courses and throughout the program are discussed; a twenty-question “integral mirror,” which is used in multiple courses, is presented; the Integral curriculum, based on the quadrants, is showcased; and an Integral journaling exercise is outlined. Lastly, seven commitments of Integral Education are distilled.
