Developmental Testing Service, Inc. (DTS) and iTeach researchers at John F. Kennedy University designed the Lectical Integral Model Assessment (LIMA), a developmental assessment of Integral Thinking. It examines how individuals think about and apply two core AQAL concepts—quadrants and lines. Based on preliminary data collected using this instrument, in this presentation we model the development of integral thinking, showing how key integral concepts manifest at different developmental levels. We then make some preliminary suggestions about how these learning sequences might be used to inform assessment feedback, teaching practices, and curricular enhancements.
